In the early 1990's I set out with Bill Hartman and Cill Padilla to climb all of the county highpoints in California. One of those is North Palisade. At 14,232 feet tall it is the 4th tallest mountain in California. Bill Cill and and went twice and didn't make the summit either time. I believe it took Bill and Cill two more tries to summit. - We were close but didn't realize until it was too late in the day that we were sitting n the wrong peak.
